Kionsom Waterfalls

I went on a short excursion to the Kionsom Waterfalls yesterday. I don't remember it to be so beautiful 15 years ago. All I remember was that, I was so uncomfortable cos my glasses kept fogging up. Well, 15 years later, with contact lenses and a DSLR, I came back, and these are some photos to share. I will surely bring my family here. Tidak rugi lah!

Vendell, why not tell me you went to kionsom waterfalls oh?..i love the pictures you took...except that...i think the falls look a tad bit overexposed, no? The surroundings are perfect...but then again, what do i know about photography!..hahaha

ah..that was the effect i wanted.. really smooth waterfalls...it was so dark, i had the shutter on at 4 and 8 seconds. bah..next trip is to go to the Minangkob waterfall.

Good waterfall shots.Tu lah sia bilang kau...check out kionsom. Nasib kau tidak pigi Togudon...sudahlah sangsara, tiada good subject to shoot except some water, rocks, weeds...that's all about it. Buli sudah kau go all out photography ni. Try put a subject against the water baru ada 'life' to pix. My suggestion, kau lastik tu tugarang. Jangan kasi mati. Kasian. Pingsan ja. Then kasi place near the flora somewhere. Kasi belakun as if dia minum tu air.

Aights Wendell,

Long time didn't post you a comment... neway, your shots are really good. i think you were in the middle of balance between taking right water-exposure or getting the surroundings exposed.

eventhough the pictures were overexposed by Half a stop, but i think its fine... Just nice...

So when can we jalan2 p cari pemandangan?

thanks frisco. yah..it was hard to balance it out. the stone walls were very dark. I didnt photo shop a lot on this, just the levels. I am partial to smoother waters, but i agree...if the lighting was good, the would have made the shutter faster. all photos were set at 8 seconds.
